| About Red River Music | | | | About Red River... | RED RIVER MUSIC was founded in 1994 by Arnold Sherman and Hart Morris, who shared a similar idea: that they could publish handbell music in a new a fresh way, produce a catalog of innovative and creative music written by themselves and the many other handbell composers and arrangers with whom we have all become familiar, and at the same time could introduce some new names to the long list of wonderful arrangers and composers. We remain committed to providing you with quality music for your handbell ensembles, written by some of the most talented composers and arrangers in the world of handbell music. Red River Gold : The Gold section of our catalog contains compositions and arrangements that are a bit more challenging than the usual fare; works encompassing five octaves and more, and which might fall in the concert and/or community ensemble category. School of Music Series : The School of Music Series was created as a result of Handbell Exploration International's School of Music, held each summer at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, and contains compositions and arrangements which were created as a part of the School sessions. Bells Plus: Originally, when a title was published with added instruments or voices the added voices were always optional. That remains true with the majority of our titles; but Bells Plus contains titles with additional instruments or voices that must be included with playing them. Solo / Ensemble: The newest addition to the Red River calalog is a collection of solo pieces with piano accompaniment arranged by Sueda Luttrell and Arnold Sherman. They are fresh and creative, a must for your solo repertoire.
